Organised by graduate students in Political Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal and sponsored by the Société Québécoise de Science Politique, the 11th Political Science graduate students conference will be held on May 6th and 7th, 2010.
The symposium aims to stimulate reflection and interaction around the theme Order and Disorder in Political Science. By multiplying perspectives, this symposium represents a new opportunity to deepen the research in Political Science, whether in public administration, international relations or political analysis.
The deadline for proposals is November 27th 2009. Acceptance emails will be sent starting February 1st 2010.
The organising committee is composed of Stéphanie Viola-Plante (SPSQ), Charles Deslandes, Kathy Meilleur, Monica Emond (Paulo Freire Center), Caroline Jacquet (AECSSP) and Andréanne Martel. You can contact us at cresp2010@gmail.com.
Several professors have agreed to serve on the selection committee of proposals: Francis Dupuis-Deri, Maya Jegen, Julian Durazo-Herrmann and Frédérick Gagnon.
The 11th Political Science graduate students conference is first of all a moment of theoretical exchange and discussion of ecological and sociopolitical issues. However, theory must meet practical response. It is why our organizers intend to offer an environmental friendly event.
